• Set up and ran the Eastern Romania commercial office of the Schneider Electric Industries SAS subsidiary.
• Directed the company's sales and the marketing activities within four counties. Oversaw major projects and established a network of contacts within the local industrial decision makers.

Accomplishments: Grew the customer base by 38%. Led 3 projects, brought 27 new clients, increased sales 82% first year. Developed and enhanced business administration, strategy, marketing and customer relationship skills. 1992-1997 Plant Automation Manager (Constanta, Romania) with Comvex S.A. ( a Balli Group Black Sea port operator company, 800 employees, $90m turnover)

• Directed the electrical /automation investments in Europe's fourth largest bulk material terminal.
• Successively fulfilled team leading, representative, consulting and middle-managerial tasks.

Accomplishments: Managed the implementation of the new factory automation system ($0.8m project) from concept to completion. In charge of $12m industrial equipment procurement and starting up. Developed extended skills in IT and automation (PLCs, computers and radio communications, process LAN management, data gathering, transmission and processing, databases). Training in Austria and France. Acquired group leading, negotiation and project financing and management competencies.

1989-1992 Process Engineer (Constanta, Romania) with Petromar R.A. (national offshore drilling company, 1500 employees $250m turnover)

• Performed technical activity planning, team supervising, on site, emergency recovery working.
• Co-ordinated computer-assisted measurement equipment trouble-shooting and certifying.

Accomplishments: Acquired high proficiency in computer programming: Pascal, VB, Excel, Access. Experienced teamwork in extreme natural situations.
